Strings & Strains of
Harmony
- Each school will be allotted one western band/artist and one Bollywood artist. The school are supposed to perform a medley of the songs of the allotted artist.
- Every school must have minimum of 4 participants in their band. A maximum of 6 participants is permitted.
- Every school will be allowed a maximum of 10 minutes for their presentation. This includes stage set-up.
- Exceeding the time limit will result in negative marking.
- The songs performed can be belong to any time period, but their should be at least one Hindi and one English song.
- No pre-recorded music is permitted.
- No professional or teacher will be permitted on the stage during or before the performance of any participating school.
- Participants must carry their own instruments. The host school will not provide any instrument except the drum set. The participants must bring their own drum-sticks, plectrums, guitar strings, processors, etc.
- No participating school will be allowed to change the tuning and setting of the drum-set provided by the host school.
- The sound setting relating to the audio system will remain unchanged throughout the event. There shall be no change in the volume or bass setting etc.
- Failure to comply with the rules mentioned above shall lead to negative marking.
- Judging will be based on the following criteria :
Ø Vocal – 10
Ø Synchronization – 10
Ø Presentation – 10
Ø Rhythm and timing – 10
Ø Instrumentation – 10
T-shirt designing
- This is an individual event.
- Participants should bring their own COLORS.
- The host school will provide a white T-shirt.
- The topics will be given on the spot.
- No pictures will allowed inside the venue.
- Participants will be allowed a total of 90 minutes to complete their designing.
- Vulgarity/ Indecency will warrant immediate disqualification.
- Participants may use pencils or brushes for designing.
- Judging will be based on following criteria :
Ø Neatness – 10
Ø Overall appearance- 10
Ø Originality – 10
Ø Creativity – 10
Ø Relevance to the topic – 10
